Default Overclocked my HTC Magic Phone to 780Mhz :-)

I know there's a few magic owners lurking on these forums, but I thought I would share the good news to temp you towards the sunlight that is rooting

The stock speed is 528Mhz max (128Mhz min). Not too shabby for a phone!

My only concern is 1) battery and 2) overheating but when it sleeps I have set it sit at 128Mhz to keep it cool and use very little drain.

No problems so far!

Prepare for it to spontaneously combust when you least expect it

Update: It got pretty damn toasty at 780Mhz!!

Have set it down to a safer 620Mhz for now.

My magic stuggles for battery life at stock clock surely overclocking it wont help much. What I do lack in my magic is memory!

Ahh Memory you say?

You my dear boy need the 10MB RAM hack :-)

The caveat?

The extra memory comes from the GPU so gaming ability is pretty much lost, not that its up to much anyway!

At Stock setup we have 97MB RAM available to Android, with the RAM hack its 107MB
