Overclocked my HTC Magic Phone to 780Mhz :-)
I know there's a few magic owners lurking on these forums, but I thought I would share the good news to temp you towards the sunlight that is rooting
 The stock speed is 528Mhz max (128Mhz min). Not too shabby for a phone! My only concern is 1) battery and 2) overheating but when it sleeps I have set it sit at 128Mhz to keep it cool and use very little drain. No problems so far!

Update: It got pretty damn toasty at 780Mhz!!
Have set it down to a safer 620Mhz for now.

My magic stuggles for battery life at stock clock surely overclocking it wont help much. What I do lack in my magic is memory!
