Many congratulations to Gonzilla who claimed his first BIG GAMER title, his road to the BIG GAMER finale wasn't easy though with hard fought matches throughout the weekend.

He (and his team) scored 1st place finish in the 5v5 CS:GO tournament, 3rd place finish in Quake3, 5th place in the Trackmania, plus strong pub quiz results which saw him amass a hefty 250 points.

The points total was enough to get him into the top 8 gamers of the event and so qualify for the BIG GAMER finale to fight it out for the prizes and fame!

Another genre of gaming challenged the finalists, and Gonzilla proved his metal in the puzzle solving arena battle to claim the title and the amazing gaming prize bundle. Consisting of an MSI GTX 960, GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK Intel Z97 Motherboard, Coolermaster QuickFire  Keyboard, Coolermaster Gaming Surface and Coolermaster Mizar Gaming Mouse it was quite a haul, all provided by the awesome folks at Novatech.

Congratulations also go out to our two runners up: TheodoreLogan who claimed 2nd place and Sc00by, who claimed 3rd, both of team 'District' who both bagged Coolermaster gaming peripherals. Well done guys.
